Freight Wagon Revision Process
At LOKO TRANS Slovakia, s.r.o., we are committed to providing the highest quality of service during the execution of freight wagon revisions in accordance with the regulations of SÚNV, KVs5B-2010, and VPI. Our revision process is designed to ensure maximum safety, reliability, and longevity of your freight wagons.
1
Reception and initial inspection
Every wagon that arrives at our facility is thoroughly registered and assigned to the maintenance tracking system.
Our technicians perform an initial inspection of the wagon to identify any visible damages or wear. This inspection includes checking the wheelsets, axles, bogies, wagon superstructures, and brake components.
2
Disassembly and detailed diagnostics
The wagon is disassembled into its individual components, allowing detailed inspection of each part.
We use advanced diagnostic tools and methods to assess the condition of each component. This includes non-destructive testing, ultrasonic inspections, visual inspections and other specialized techniques.
3
Repair and replacement of components
Once damaged or worn parts are identified, our experts carry out the necessary repairs. This may include welding, grinding, reconditioning, and other specialized repairs, such as repairing couplers, brake components, spring and suspension weighing, or bogie repairs.
If some parts cannot be repaired, we will replace them with new parts according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
4
Assembly and finalization
After the repair and replacement of components, all parts are reassembled. Our technicians ensure that all parts are properly installed, inspected, and function flawlessly.
We will perform the surface treatment of the wagon according to the technological procedure and then reassemble the wagon, sending it for final inspection to ensure that all repairs meet the highest standards. This includes checking the functionality of the brakes, suspension, and other critical systems.
5
Final inspection and handover to the customer
Our technicians conduct the final inspection, which includes checking all completed work and verifying that all components are functioning correctly.
We will prepare detailed documentation of all performed repairs and modifications, which will be provided to the customer for their needs.
After successfully completing all inspections, the wagon is ready for handover to the customer. We inform the customer about all the performed work and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
