On May 15, 2026, representatives of LOKO TRANS Slovakia participated in a presentation held at the Secondary Technical School in Šurany for fourth-year students. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the company, present its activities, and further strengthen cooperation between industrial practice and vocational education.
During the presentation, students had the opportunity to learn more about the areas in which the company operates – from freight wagon overhauls and repairs, wheelset production, and new freight wagon manufacturing to non-destructive testing and mobile field service operations.
Part of the program also included the presentation of the current job opening for a CNC Machine Operator. Students were introduced to the requirements of the position, the working environment, and opportunities for further professional growth within the company.
The presentation was complemented by a company video and demonstrations of technologies, machinery, and working procedures used in everyday operations. Students actively participated in the discussion, and the meeting created space for many questions related to technologies, career opportunities, and manufacturing processes.
LOKO TRANS Slovakia has long considered support for technical education an important part of its development and believes that connecting schools with real industrial practice helps create high-quality conditions for future professionals in the railway industry.
At the same time, the company expressed interest in continuing and further developing cooperation with the school in the future.
